Snackfolio Disclosure Policy

Updated January 2026

Our Commitment to Transparency

At Snackfolio, when it comes to money, business ownership, and opportunity, we believe in radical transparency and personal responsibility.Day in and day out, we dedicate ourselves to delivering practical education around vending, smart markets, micro-markets, and modern retail automation. Our mission is to help everyday people understand how these businesses actually work in the real world—not in theory.
Because we regularly discuss equipment, operators, vendors, software platforms, financing options, and business models that can directly impact your financial decisions, it’s important that you understand exactly where we’re coming from.
With that in mind, we’ve developed this disclosure policy to guide our business and communications. We invite you to read it so you can make informed decisions as part of the Snackfolio community.

Communications

Snackfolio is a company founded by operators, for operators. We teach people of all backgrounds and income levels how vending and unattended retail really works—from traditional machines to modern smart coolers and micro-markets. We publish free and paid content across email, social media, video, coaching programs, and courses. In that content, we may:
  • Discuss vending and smart market business models
  • Review or reference specific machines, platforms, or vendors
  • Share strategies that we personally use in our own routes
  • Recommend tools, services, or partners we believe in
In many cases, we actively operate the same types of businesses we teach. That means we may own, lease, or profit from machines, routes, locations, or systems that are similar to—or even the same as—those we discuss. When relevant, we will strive to disclose whether the author or Snackfolio has a direct business interest in the products, platforms, or strategies being discussed. Snackfolio operates with a core principle: We teach what we actually do.

Disclosure

  • When we write or speak about a company, product, or platform in which we have a financial interest, we will make a reasonable effort to disclose that relationship.
  • Snackfolio may earn revenue from coaching, consulting, courses, affiliate relationships, or partnerships related to vending and smart market businesses.
  • Some recommendations may result in compensation to Snackfolio if you choose to work with or purchase from a partner.
  • Editorial content is created independently and reflects our honest experience and opinions.
While we may recommend partners we trust and/or use ourselves, this site does not include every available option in the market. There are hundreds of machine manufacturers, operators, payment processors, leasing companies, and suppliers. We highlight only a small fraction based on real-world experience and editorial judgment.

Business & Technology Partners

Snackfolio maintains business relationships with an evolving group of companies, including but not limited to:
  • Equipment manufacturers
  • Smart cooler and micro-market providers
  • Payment and telemetry platforms
  • Financing and leasing companies
  • Data providers
  • Operators and route owners
  • Advertising and media platforms
Some of these companies operate in industries we actively discuss. There may be instances where we write about or recommend a company with whom we have a business relationship. Our goal is to remain fair, honest, and operator-first in all communications.

Advertising & Affiliate Relationships

As a general rule:
  • If you see an advertisement on our site or in our emails, that company is paying for placement.
  • Some links or recommendations may be affiliate links, meaning Snackfolio may earn compensation if you choose to engage.
  • Compensation does not guarantee a positive review or endorsement.
We only recommend partners we believe provide real value. However, you should always conduct your own research before making any business or financial decision.

In Conclusion

We’ve designed this disclosure policy to serve our community, customers, and team fairly.

That said, no disclosure policy replaces personal responsibility.

Every piece of information you receive—here or anywhere else—should be treated as an idea for further consideration, not as a guaranteed outcome or promise of success.

Vending and smart markets are real businesses. They involve risk, effort, capital, and execution. Results vary widely based on location quality, operator skill, follow-through, and market conditions.

Due diligence, critical thinking, and ownership of your decisions are essential.

Snackfolio exists to shorten your learning curve—not to replace your judgment.

All opt-ins, purchases, and participation in Snackfolio programs are subject to the information and principles outlined above.
